Strategic Partnerships Blueprint

Define your value, align your objectives, and unlock pathways to growth.

Corporate partnerships can be a game-changer

For a startup or small business, entering a corporate partnership can be transformative. Corporate partners offer more than just funding. They can provide resources, infrastructure, deep industry expertise and potentially lucrative exits.

But partnerships are most successful when they’re balanced; driven by clear objectives aligned with long-term business goals.

Without a well-defined strategy, partnerships risk becoming distractions rather than catalysts for growth.

Build a strategic partnership blueprint in just one day

This intensive 1-day workshop gives startups the clarity and structure they need to pursue high-value corporate partnerships with confidence.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Identify key assets to craft a compelling value proposition tailored to potential partners
  • Define partnership objectives with intention, focus, and strategic alignment
  • Build an ideal partner persona to guide targeted outreach and decision-making

By aligning your value proposition and partnership goals with your long-term business strategy, you’ll maximise the value of corporate collaborations“and avoid the costly pitfalls that often hold startups back.

  • Value driver analysis and value optimisation
  • Includes access to MedDev Central Enterprise and Asset Valuation courses and toolkits

Part 2: Partnership Objectives

Critical strategic requirements for scaling and sustained success are translated into clear, actionable partnership objectives. Strategic needs are prioritised and structured using the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), ensuring they can be effectively addressed through corporate partnerships.

  • Prioritise strategic needs across short-term (12“24 months) and long-term (5“10 years) horizons
  • Evaluate each strategic need by importance and define SMART-aligned objectives

Part 3: Partnership Opportunity Analysis

Potential corporate partnerships are assessed against the startup’s maturity and strategic objectives.

  • Identify partnership opportunities that address business objectives and leverage core assets
  • Develop ideal partner persona(s) to guide targeting and outreach

Part 4: Alignment and Actions

Clear alignment is established on the steps required to progress toward partnership execution.

  • Confirm internal alignment on the partnering strategy
